BROADCASTER'S WORKSHOP

Honors Project - Completed by Jack during 2018-19 school year

In order to graduate in the Honors Program at the University of Rhode Island, each student must complete 6 credits worth of a honors project. An honors project can be anything from an art sculpture, to a research project, to a short film. I decided to teach a workshop to young sports broadcaster to help them improve and also to teach my self more about the art. We met at least once a week, going over different practices, strategies, and we also spent a significant amount of time recording and reflecting actual segments. I presented my project with my project poster at the annual Honors Program Poster Conference in May 2019, signifying my completion of the program. Here is a culmunation of my project.
