ABOUT JACK
Jack O'Marra is a sports broadcasting and media personality, with a background in ticket sales and operations. Jack currently works with URI Athletics as Senior Account Executive in ticket sales and as a freelance broadcaster. Jack formerly worked for: the Bay State Bobcats (NA3HL) as their broadcaster and Director of Media Relations; Danbury Hat Tricks hockey team in the FPHL as the Director of Ticket Sales, and a broadcaster for both the Hat Tricks and the Danbury NA3HL team, the Colonials. Jack graduated with a B.A. in Communication Studies and a Business minor from the University of Rhode Island in 2019. Jack is a determined and driven sports personality with experience in sports broadcasting, radio, public address announcing, and ticket sales. What makes Jack stand out is his love for the art of sports broadcasting and the work that goes into it. He uses his vocal emotion and meticulous preparation to drive the broadcast. He has called baseball, football, basketball, hockey and soccer with a desire to expand as well.
